Which kitchen photos should you send for an estimate?

Start with a wide view of your kitchen, then add clear photos of the cabinet fronts and any damaged areas. Include your ZIP code and tell Alex whether you’re considering painting, new doors, or both.

You can attach photos to our estimate form or send them on WhatsApp. Photos are optional, so you can still get in touch if you don’t have them ready.

Quick checklist: wide views, cabinet fronts, any damage, your ZIP code, and what you’d like to change.

Include both upper and lower cabinets in your photos. Kitchen shown for illustration.

Show the whole kitchen

Take one photo from each end of the room so the upper and lower cabinets are visible. Include the island, tall pantry cabinets and exposed cabinet sides if they are part of the update. If one picture cannot show everything, send a few overlapping views.

Show the doors and drawer fronts

Add a straight-on photo of each run of cabinets. For door replacement, include a closer view of the current door profile and an open door showing its hinges. You don’t need to remove a door to take these photos.

Include wear and damage

Photograph peeling finish, chips, water damage or loose areas up close. Add a wider view of the same area so Alex can see where it is. Keep the original photos without filters or retouching.

Tell us what you want to change

Mention the color or door style you have in mind and whether you want to keep the existing handles. A reference photo can help explain the look you like; please identify it as inspiration rather than a photo of your own kitchen.

If you know the approximate number of cabinets, include it. If you’re unsure how to count a corner cabinet, a drawer unit or a tall cabinet, send photos and ask Alex to confirm the count used for your estimate.

Before you send

Use good light and keep the camera level. Move personal documents and other private items out of view. Include your ZIP code so we can check availability for your location.

Photos help us discuss the scope. Measurements, cabinet condition and the work included still need to be confirmed before a final price or schedule is agreed.

You can attach up to 10 photos, up to 30 MB each, in JPG, PNG, WebP, HEIC or HEIF format.
